So where were ya'll? Jimmy and Ron camped with us and I ran into Charles as I was leaving yesterday. The rain was a little annoying. Oh and I think the right CV is dying.

yeah.. that was me and Chris Vitale.. I didn't see many people... John c, Adrian, Jimmy and Ron. I had fun but it was balls deep mud and I can tell you that MTR's dont self clean that well. We camped at the top of the hill but never had a chance to stop at the Pilly tent which looked like a blast. I want in on that next year..

Follow-up Post:

Oh and we went out night wheeling in Chris' truck all by ourselves.. IT was sick. No one out there and wee were slammin through the trails at about 12pm.. ITw as raining so hard at that time the trails were like a river

The Philly tent was the best part of the weekend, i don't remember leaving. 2 1/2 inches of rain, gets home sunday morning and its in the 70's and sunny, at leased i could dry the tents.

Oh and one more thing, Fri night a deer attempted to jump over my truck while I was doing about 15mph on the main trail heading out to the main road. THe D WON. it smashed into the cage bar above my pass door with its chest, then rolled onto the top of my soft top, off the back and smashed into my cb antenna then hit the ground. IT felt like a tree fell on my roof and I had no Idea what happened at first. CHris watched this all happen and said it was a sight to see. not a scratch on the D either. just a lot of fur on the roof....lol

You were just a little trashed friday night. The funny part was after jamie came back from putting you in your tent he asked if he stuck you in the right one.

We lost our canopy @ 11 friday night and all of our gear got soaked, we took off Sat. morning. Could have been a LOT more fun. Next year I'm not pre-registering.

Yeah, it was fun, but not that fun If it wasn't for my brother's RV my wife would have had us leave Friday night I am sure! All our gear got wet friday night, but the air matresses kept the bedding dry.

Since the weather sucked (and where we camped to be by the RV) I hardly saw anyone. Did anyone make it to crozet on Saturday?

Hey Jimmy, sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, was too busy getting muddy.

Strange thing happened after you left, everyone was drinking your moonshine and raising their cups in your name....

Jimmy, I'm crushed that you didn't remember me tucking you in!

And yeah, we had sugar, but after we killed the Jameson's and ran out of ginger ale, we turned to Knob creek and 7-up (heated of course),...and after that was done, I believe it was Captaim Morgan, apple cider, a bit of sugar and a little butter.

Took the chill right out of your bones! and made you forget about the rain or creek running through your tent!

Jimmy's moonshine was pretty tasty without the sugar. So that's what was passed out later in the night.
