Yes, you can always just show up and pay on arrival, but Sep 1 was pre-reg cutoff.

The MAR/ROAV has no affiliation with Chris/Heather of Crozet Offroad. I do not think they are having trail rides the weekend of the MAR.

If company is good, I don't mind making a slightly longer trip

Thanks

Take 87 to 287 and then 78. Don't take 95, too much traffic.

I'm leaving on Tues night or Wed early morning.

See you there!

I think Steve and the ohio bunch usually get there around midnight on Wednesday. So where ever they set up camp but we are usually between the pond and the entrance. Right next to the hill where everyone was sliding down in the mud.

Sure why don't you head up after work on Wednesday, I should have everything set up. Sara will be coming up on Friday after work. Mike Z just fell off a deck and broke his arm in two. He might not make it this year but Donnie will be with us again.

Anyone want to carpool from Philly?

Ideally I would like to ride with someone else as all I do is hangout and drink but I can drive down and just park the D90 or maybe ride some trails in the am before the real partying starts . . .

I'm comming in rather late on this one, been too busy getting my rig ready for the MAR.
I will be heading down Sunday, going to Vermont first then doing an overnight run through New York city to miss the traffic
Should be there early Tuesday totally burned out.
For those who know my truck I have done some more modifications. Stop by Muddy O-ville behind the big tent and say hello.

I just got my D a month ago and had no idea MAR was going on. Ron Brown told me over the phone, so i might try to head on down. Anyone from NYC going? i see some PA and MA people are going.

what does MAR include? offroading if you want to. drinking? sounds good to me.

MAR is a nice event. Good camping, tons of defenders (and other rovers)
Yes drinking, driving (either but not both)
Trails are rated from easy/stock to difficult.
If I had any complaints its that the trails get a little crowded now that more people are attending.

But a nicely done event....try to make it.

ROAV is going to really stick to one way only on the trails. This will help keep the traffic jams down. I was down there last weekend and the trails are in pretty good condition considering the thrashing they got last MAR and also a pretty good flood in May!

This should be fun. I'll be running a set of 33" ATs this year. still haven't gotten the two flats replaced from Rausch Creek.

Looks like I'm coming in late on this thread.

I'm heading down Thursday afternoon, leaving South Riding around 3pm I imagine if anyone wants to convoy.

I'm up for Saturday wheeling at crozet, but has anyone talked to Chris or Heather yet? I'll drop them an email and see if they can take a rover group.

Will have a new QT front diff guard for sale.
