Looking for cool campsites in N Georgia

We are going camping next weekend. I'm still trying to figure out where exactly. Anyone know of cool places that are worth exploring?

I'll be doing some exploring up that way with another member on Saturday. Not sure of the exact route yet but shoot me a message if you're interested. For campsites I'd suggest somewhere by the water. Makes a huge difference in the summer heat. Check out the National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Maps and pick a spot

Sarah's creek in the Clayton, GA area is pretty nice. It's pretty much a long gravel road with some creek crossings. The campsites are nice and most are beside the river. In the area there is some good fishing and hiking. Also, The Dillard House is close by and is a neat place to eat if you've never been.

The Dillard House is awesome. We usually visit after backpacking trips.

I'll put Sarah's Creek on the list of places to explore. Thanks!
