Long Island (Montauk) Meet Up Sunday 8/27/17

Hey All,

Some of my good friends will be hosting a Charity Event next Sunday 8/27/17 at the Montauk Yatch Club called Defender of the Water (quick description listed below). One of the organizers will be assembling as many Defenders as possible to line the Great Lawn, Entrance & Parking Lot for the event and I thought it would be awesome to invite anyone from the Defender Source that would like to attend. There will be reserved Parking in the Parking Lot and you don't have to stay for the entire event. It should be a great time and I hope to see a bunch of you there. Let me know if you have any questions.

Defenders of the water is charity art exhibition that will be held on Montauk Yacht Club’s sprawling great lawn overlooking Montauk harbor (Sunday August 27th 2pm-10pm)

The title of the show reflects on the creative and unique cast of visual, sculptural and musical artist all with deep passion for the ocean, the east end and A Walk On Water.

(AWOW) a charity that enables children and adults with special needs, along with their families, to experience the joy and healing power of surf therapy. The organization works closely with local communities, businesses, volunteers and watermen — brought together in service of a shared mission — to help others experience the calming and therapeutic effects of the electrifying, living ocean; and, in the process, showcasing the best of surf culture.

The event runs from (2pm-10 pm) a portion of the art, drink and food sales will go to (A Walk On Water) food will be provided by Chef Sam Talbot of (Pretty Southern). Featured DJs including DJ Tito Cruz (Robert Mckinley), Jack Luber, Alexander Reinwald and Oli Benz. Artist include Gregory Johnston, Joe Termini, Kelia Moniz Termini, Peter Dayton, Rogan Gregory, Terence Connors, William Quigley, Raphael Mazzucco, Scott Rudin and the event organizers Salvatore Termini and Alexander Reinwald.
