Local wheeling (for me)

Just got a few e-mails asking about doing some wheeling soon, I know I still have to fix my 90 but who would be up for some wheeling the weekend of the 13th and 14th or maybe the fallowing weekend?

I think the weekend of the 20th will be the best as Jimmy can not make it next weekend. We need to get some other guys to go also, How about the Daves? Marchand? Souza? Who else can I get out on the trail? Oh and I have been told to stay away from deep water for a while, or at least until it warms up some. Today I filled a 5 gallon bucket with mud and water from just my drivers side seatbox!

That is probably a good weekend for me. I'm working through my travel schedule for that week. Hopefully should know shortly what works best...

I'm probably up for it. I'm trying to get my front diff protected again, I don't think the QT is going to work anymore. 2 weeks should be enough time to do that though. what's it going to be? Fla Rd., Ma Bell, NH,?? I'm flexible, just curious how far I'll have to drive

Hmmm, I don't think we have decided where to go, just trying to see who can go. I have done Fla rd 2 or 3 times and Ma Bell 2 or 3 times, I have done a bunch in NH 4 or 5 times so it doesn't really bother me what we do. With 4 or 5 Rovers we could do both Ma Bell and FL rd in a day with a nice lunch break. The trails I know of 1 trail is an hour ride (a little mud going up and down a hill with some small rocks), the other is a kick the crap out of you day long trail ride (big hills, Big MUD go arounds for most of the mud exept the end, and some cool optional rock climbs, Oh and the last big mud hole Jimmy made it through but required winching, it is a go around for the BIGGGGG mud hole makes the one at PA look like a puddle), but there a buch of exit points to escape before the major Mud. And there are a few undiscoverd trails I have yet to see where they come out or find out just how deep that hole is, but I think I can save those ones for another day for me to check out first.

There are from what I hear some good trails up North in NH and southern Main but still I need to check them out before I make a group run of it.

Mike, I'm up for some scouting trips when you want to check those places out. I know its not wise to take 5-6 trucks into unknown areas, but for future reference, I'm up for it.

In any case, for next weekends trip I don't know if I could do a knock-down drag out all day trail. I've been 'off doing my offroading' a few too many weekends for the boss lately, so she'll want me home by bedtime at least . Fl Rd & Ma Bell together might work well for me though, as they're pretty close by. I'd probably prefer Sunday if that works for the rest of you, but I could probably sneak out for Saturday if that's the consensus.

OK so Fr rd and Ma Bell sounds good for the 21st. The all day run really isn't that bad, it just takes time because we play on the rocks a bit, then we get stuck in the mud at the end.

Mike, the BSROA list was talking about running Ma Bell that weekend and doing a tech session at Robison Service (on Waxoyl I think).

Yeah you better have it back soon! I don't want to explain anymore why my 90 is yellow. You think people could tell the differance between a 90 with 35s and NH plates and one with 32s and Mass plates. I just tell everyone my 90 is doing some long term off roading, it's just doing all it's offroading in the driveway .
