The Guitar Town music festival (in Copper Mountain) is August 9th - 11th so the 13th - 17th is perfect!

We're planning the attempt. If anyone else up north with tow rope and bag of tools interested in convoy, let us know.

There will be four of us with two "wheelin" LR's. I'm really looking forward to this trip as I am planning to go to Denver the week prior to meet up with Matt at Rock Ware. The rest of the family will head out the week of the event.

Updates on this?

Tyler had unsettling news on the lack of a central Hotel....

Eldest daughter is moving back to CO...wants to go if she's out there (Pagosa Springs) by then.

Thanks - Keith

Still nothing...heck I haven't received a reply from an email I sent 6 months ago...well except for the automated one. You'd think they owe me money or product or something. The membership request was timely!

I'm camping out so my accommodations are set.

Yeah I gotta be honest and say this year seems a bit odd with the lack of info out there. To the point where I started to wonder if it was still happening. Talk to Paul Donohue who is in the know and he said there is no host hotel as of yet. I booked a house on VRBO for the week. Was cheaper than most of the hotels. Plus I was finding most of the hotels with little availability. It seems to me in the years past there much more chatter on the forums and more info out there. However I have not been to the rally in about 3 years so I could be imagining things.

For instance when do they usually announce the schedule etc.... Where to meet every morning etc...

Still planning on going.

Hey Guys,

I have confirmation from our infamous leader on hotels etc. It will be up on the website shortly but I wanted to post it here first as you guys were asking...

We have two blocks of rooms reserve but the must call directly, not online. First is at the Hot Springs Inn (approx 30 rooms) and second is Twin Peaks (20 rooms). These need to be made by July 14th.
There is a small "Ampitheater" USFS just outside of town or a KOA in town for camping. There are several other Motels. including a Comfort Inn.

I hope not why not just say it is in Ridgway...something tells me I'd better wait to decide on a camp area...
