Here are some pictures from today.
The best part is Jeff is wearing a half shirt to work on the truck.

So far my contribution has been breaking a bolt on the y pipe where it attaches to the manifold so I had to pull the passenger side. thankfully not the drivers side. Also I got to use a rubber mallet to beat the transmission crossmember out.

No clue on drinks. Ideas?

Ummm...Barry, are you a part-time serial killer on the weekends? What's with the white plastic taped down? Reminiscent of something that Patrick Bateman would do while working on his truck with a "friend" (American Psycho reference for the layperson). Did you put on some Huey Lewis & The News while you were working on the truck? Is that an axe I see casually leaned up against a shelf in the back?

I'm just happy Briggs wasn't also wearing short-shorts.

What's your rental policy on half-shirts and cutoff jean shorts (which I'm envisioning is what Jeff later did to his pants)? Pretty lax?

Love that expression on Jeff's face.

Barry: I SAID STAY ON THE TARP!!!!
Jeff: Huh? Oh yeah, sorry. Why do I have to wear a half cutoff shirt?
Barry: SHUT UP AND UNDRESS!! It's part of my screenplay.
Jeff: Oh, OK, where should I put my clothes? Wait, are you filming? And why do I have to get naked again?

How many trips did you guys have to make to the hardware store for necessary tools during the disassembly? Did Barry bring you out for sushi yet?

Nice progress! Did you get as far as removing the pressure plate and inspecting the clutch? I'm waiting to hear it looks like there was nothing wrong with it

Throw out bearing is shot and left a nice burn mark in the pressure plate.

So far between what Jeff brought and what I already had we have enough tools. We did have to saw up a dresser to get some wood to add some height to my jack to drop the transmission.

Horsey well done

You guys actually doing a happy hour at a bar or just in your garage? Let me know, I'll be down in the SM/Venice area most of the afternoon/evening.
