Ok, I'm down for next Thursday. I will be passing there probably around 5:30...depends on what traffic looks like.

Amazing...I am ashamed, the defender doesn't really hit the dirt. I'll drive by and see if you're there.

Good to hear since there were only 3 of us this time. Nice to meet Brad and Brian and see Brians sparkling, showroom clean D90.

very nice to meet you guys...

I was left torn between the desire to throw rocks and dirt at Brian's truck to dent it or make it dirty or SOMETHING and the desire to hug it and wipe it with a diaper so it stays clean and pretty forever...

Happily I found this regarding bringing my tdi to California:
Does my vehicle qualify for a smog exemption?

Smog inspections are required unless your vehicle is:
  • Hybrid
  • Gasoline powered 1975 year model or older
  • Diesel powered manufactured prior to 1998 or with a Gross Vehicle Weight rating (GVWR) of more than 14,000 lbs

No, and smog issues in Colorado may be a driving force to bring it out sooner. As I read it I should be exempt from smog in California: diesel powered, manufactured prior to 1998=exempt

Does it say on your title that truck is a diesel? Im no expert on this but I thought someone here had an issue with an older disco being brought in to CA with a TDI. Roving beetle might have more info.

Yes: currently titled as a diesel... I thought the disco was newer (like post 1998)

Horsey,

Make sure you lock the door when you start jerking off. I don't want your mom to walk in on you again.

Brian i think you should sell me your tonneau cover. Your truck has never seen weather so you have no use for it. Please donate to a worthy cause.
