I'm happy to be generally okay... could have been much worse. The bike HAD been saving me about $7/day in gas and ~1.5 hours in commute time every day... but factoring in 9 hours in the ER changes the math a little

should be all back to normal in 6-8 weeks in any case...

I could see how saving an hour and a half sitting in traffic is a big bonus but thats what helicopters are for.

Funny story. I pulled up next to a guy in a four door wrangler today. He had a SCLR club sticker on his jeep.

I laughed and thought of John.

I'll pm you my cell number in case you make it out Saturday and hopefully if there is cell service out there.

I remember laughing (and crying a little) when Abeer flipped his rig, because when he bought his truck and the seller said it went to a young guy you said something like, "wow, it'll never be that nice ever again," and Abeer replied something like nothing bad would ever happen to it. Then first trip out and THAT happened. HAHA. She still looks good though.

well after I fixed the front fender I had a couple other dents and scuffs fixed on the truck so its actually cleaner now then when I bought it but I guess it could use a little rhinolining....

Not unless you want to have a party at your place? Seems like we can never get it all together for a meet up.

Anybody around this week? I don't have my 90 but I'll show up in something with an LR badge if we get together.
