By housework, I meant, building a extreme terrain course in our backyard. Now that it is done, we can fix the 101 and test it out on the course.

Actually I am lying, we finished our new deck and we can test it out by drinking beer on it. I will talk to Jim and see about setting something up next week.

also, still trying to make a "happy hour/work on FC101" day happen in the next couple of weeks at my buddy's place. would like to have it running by MAR, but we'll see.
Depending when you do it, I may be able to help also if you guys need an extra set of hands..

Bummed about not being able to make the Happy Hour tomorrow though.. No one around to watch my little one.

eric, i'll post up when we finalize. we'll need as many people standing around scratching their heads drinking beer as we can get. it'll be in n. arlington, near intersection of george mason and wilson blvd.

I'll make it, but it'll be at about 7:45/8. Can you drink that long???
Tony, I may need a reference for exhaust work too. I'm taking the truck to the place on Wilson for my inspection. Fingers crossed....

If not, take it to the Midas on the corner of Glebe and Columbia Pike -- tell Shane, the manager that you know "tony with the rovers around the corner" -- you'll get a fair inspection. He's also appreciates rovers AND can do exhaust sytems.

Michael, it's about a mile from my house, we can just meet at my place, grab the rack and head over.

Charles, it's tonight.

We'll meet at the same place -- Jays. Unless you want to drop beer off at my house on the way, which is fine as well.

I am going to try and stop by tonight. However, we are thinking next Thursday at our place to do a little 101 tinkering. Let me know who is interested and I post up the details. Oh yeah, and let me know your preferred domestic beer.

Well, it looks as though they like you more than they like me -- they just quoted me $750 to set up a detroit even if I brought the third in to them . . . gave airpark rovers a call to see what they can do, am awaiting the call back, though at this rate it looks like GBR is getting the business or I'm buying a dial indicator.

damn, that's highway robbery. had the work done around this time last year, right before MAR. called around to local driveline shops and they all quoted me around $400-$500. Roverland quoted me $250 so took it in to them. has to be someone good local who can do it inexpensively. might have to learn it myself and start a side business setting up diffs for people.

Not a bad idea at all! GBR charges $200 for a detroit, $250 for an ARB.

While there's a couple of guys on-line - just seeing if there's any interest in getting folks back together for a Happy Hour on the 29th? I've missed the last couple of these things, but since I'm soon to return from an overseas deployment, I wouldn't mind talking Rovers over a couple of beers with some locals...
