Absolutely!! You'll need a drink, too, if you just got your first . . .

A bump... reminding all about this eve.

I got air in the tires and the battery charged, but I think I need to find a different job. Our garage is only 6' 4", and on a great day like this, the truck's still sitting at the house ...and of course my garage is too short too, I think.

happy hour

Hey, Tony, Ken and others,

I'll be heading down from Frederick, MD.
Been a while since I've seen some of you and looking forward to meeting the rest of you.

Also, I left a business card on somebody's sexy red ST in the daily garage at BWI the other week.
Almost looked like yours, Ken but I don't think it was. Is the owner of that cherry coming tonight?

Cheers,
Trevor Combs

Trevor, you didn't put the rollcage back on your truck, did you? don't know who's got the other red ST. Certainly wasn't mine.

Good times

Hey Guys,

It was really great meeting everyone, we should do it again in a few weeks. I will do some trouble shooting with my engine and see if I can get my Defender up and running this weekend.

See ya!

Greg.

Greg,

Thanks for the response to the original thread. I would love to go, but Monday's are tough for me right now. Any other times possible?

By the way, I am staying in McLean also right off the 123 and Churchill. I am surprised I have not seen your D-90 yet. Are you close?

Michael

Hey Michael,

You are not too far away at all. I live at 123 and Old Dominion. My Defender usually sits in the garage and I drive my "beater" to work in Georgetown. I have a few widgets I am putting on right now, so it is relatively "incapacitated".

Tuesday night's are bad for me. And I can't make this Wed. because of a Board Meeting. Besides that, I am pretty open usually.

Greg.

Work Weds. Next week the only day I have free is Tuesday. Greg how long have you had your 90? When I was living in McLean I rarely saw other 90s.

Hey Tyler,

I have only been living in McLean for about a 1 1/2 years, moved up from Alexandria. I have had this 90 for about a year. I see maybe one Defender a week in the area (if I'm lucky). But I spot them from about a mile away and then lose all focus on anything I am doing (even driving).

If next week is bad for everyone, maybe the next week could be good. Or what if we said the first Monday or Wednesday of every month we get together?

Greg.

I like the idea of the first Wednesday of every month....

Is your D-90 a green with factory roof rack? I passed one of those the other day on the 123.
