Fredericksburg Area Meet-Up Any interest

I know there are some who have a hard time making it up to NOVA for HH. Figure we can have an alternate day of the month, maybe first Wednesday of the month, for those down south or who have scheduling conflicts with the NOVA HH.

This is a shot in the dark but let me know if interested. Lots of venues or parks to grab a beer or BBQ... in the Fredericksburg area. Always looking for an opportunity to gain knowledge, swap parts, and hang out with likeminded rover owners.

Thoughts..

Adam

Really??? Fredericksburg is 24 miles from Quantico, and Kilroys in Springfield is 27 miles.

You really want to fight southbound traffic on the 95 on a weekday?

Like you would ever show up anyway

Split the difference. Meet in stafford area. This isn't to replace the NOVA HH. But another opportunity.

I'd say the scenery is better in NoVA but...well that's not really going to be a factor anywhere. With a little lead time I'd happily make Stafford/Hoodbridge...hell with the USMC representation on here we can do it at Tun Tavern in the Museum if desired-there is always parking at least.

Well, there are 4 Marines in this thread in and around Quantico, so Ray name the day and we can make it happen over at the museum. Might even be able to get Rick to show...

TAD this week...let me get my S in a pile, but perhaps next Fri? (the 17th). I'm not sure I'll make the actual HH.

If early the following week works better for folks let me know and we can slide to like 21-22 May.

I'm open to either idea. I think we all can make lunch though.
