Foxfield

Anybody out there going to Foxfield in Charlottesville this spring?
I'm planning on taking the D and thought if some other owners were headed we could get plots near each other and caravan.

Yipes!!! Last time I was in town for Foxfield I was dodging drunk frat boys hanging out the back of pickups. I'll probably be down but for a party that night.

usually have a crew that goes. this year should roll in with a '76 101 if we can get the bugs worked out. we have always done student section (orange), but not sure if we will move to the older section (green) since we have been out of school for awhile now. i have to firm up we are definitely going, and i will post up when i find out.

Awesome, we normally have the same but we've been rolling in a Rodeo up till this year. I'm pretty sure we're going Green this year because you can still walk into the orange section, but get to pee in the green section (no trough). Of course, we're all gradumicated now too so...
When we get our plot I'll post the # on here

Took the 90 down a couple of years ago, wound up parked across from a couple of current Sydney guys in an '88. First time I've been able to remember Foxfield. Wound up running into them at the Middy that year in fact.

We'll be in the Green section on the inside rail; Plot A75, or the one with the Black D-90 (if she's running then).

Hope to see some of you there!

Jesse,
I'll definitely be out there this year visiting my GF. I'm still trying to find out where I'm going to be located. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to bring the 90. Had a HORRIBLE experience the last time I tried to drive down to Charlottesville. I'll stop by....

hey Jesse, we finally bought our plot ticket. Green Section, Row E, #37. Didn't get the crowd we usually do, so nothing too fancy this year. 101 can't make it, so it will either be my '00 gray DII with adventure rack, or my buddy's '94 conniston 90 at the plot. hope to see you there.

We'll be there, same deal though, didn't get the crowd. Not worried, it'll work out fun for all but those who miss it. I'll make sure to do a good plot walk to find all the rover people there.

Great to see some nice rovers there. Robbie, I think I saw your Disco if you were the one in the Green section with the rack and pelican boxes. I waved, but it was futile. Also saw a nice '97 red ST that an owner let some friends borrow to take down - anybody out there?
Mike, great to meet you and your GF. I'll definately let you know when I get out to CO.
Funniest part, saw a guy in the Bellair market this morning wearing an old MAR shirt, turns out he has a Series 3. Chatted to him for a while too.

yep, that was me. sorry didn't get a chance to stop by. i am pretty sure I saw your truck when we first pulled in. but time just seemed to get away from us - for some unknown reason also saw a nice looking 109 parked on the inside rail of the orange section when we walked to the trough. turned out to be an awesome day
