That climb has been getting tougher and tougher every year... Its really fun when wet...

The base of the second wall further up the trail has really eroded too.

Hey Ron - let me know the meeting/trailhead location when you have a chance.

So far so good for me to go. Pics and vids look great - pretty stoked on finally getting a go on this trail.

Had a great run through Old Florida Road on Sunday. It was pissing rain in NJ and even in Springfield where I made a stop back home. But as soon as my dad and I got just south of Adams the rain stopped and held clear til the trailhead. Good thing too as the trails were tough enough dry.

Ron graciously guided us on an 8 hour march on these fine Western MA trails. It looked like winter did a job on the trail and a few of the main obstacles had us working hard to get the rigs thru.

Trucks were: Ron, nicely modded 97 D90, Jarise (spelling?) Disco 2, Dusty in a stocker Disco 1, Me, '95 D90, and Jeff as tail gun in a Disco 2 which was an Atlantic British rig.

Jariss - Stumpy's Revenge - I don't have the pics but he pulled the move of the ride that blew us all away. Had that Disco 2 almost folded over and kept on the throttle and brought her back to 4 wheels. Jeff has vid that has the left front of the truck sky high. It was the burliest thing I've seen on my limited 4WD trail experience. It's also the reason I'm calling this section Stumpy's Revenge as there was a cut down stump that help launch him.

Dusty - Stumpy's Revenge - With some work and some good spotting Dusty got this stocker Disco 1 thru with only a pull or 2 needed here and there.
http://bankbikes.com/D90/Florida_Roa...0/img_0027.jpg

Me - Stumpy's - I was having a tough time until I wised up and chose the right line - should have listened to myself and let the truck pick the way.

Big thanks to Ron for getting this together. I'd highly recommend wheeling with him or any of the other guys (Jeff, Dusty, Jariss) - all good guys that know their stuff. Hopefully I can make it to the next one.
