Most of the water collects after the water crossing, not going beyond that should be fine

Myself and Fernando are in but will arrive around 0930-1000 A.M. . Day light should hold probably past 19:00 so we can still have a nice long run. Are we doing FL RD Sat , What CB channel , and any hotels nearby ?

Jimmy, I'm assuming your going to come down the mountain, through North Adams to the trail head? I'm coming up from Lanesboro, route 8. Hope some folks have extra seats. I may have one or two extra people without a trail ride. Their is a high school before the turn off as well as the Walmart parking lot. Jorge, you could come up that way too.

assuming I get the front shocks fixed I'll have a few extra seats! As long as they don't mind riding in a slightly less bling Defender :P

"Jimmy, I'm assuming your going to come down the mountain, through North Adams to the trail head"

Dave its easier and quicker for us to turn right out of savoy camp site and go by the end of the trail and keep turning right.Randy, Jorge & Fernando should arrive before 10 so should we say 10.30 at the trail head?. Or from the trail head give me directions to where we could meet so we are not blocking the trail.
Cell #, 978 804 5046 if i'm getting reception

Gotcha. We'll meet you at the trail. I would not advise waiting on the road. The locals don't appreciate it. If anything, pull far enough onto the trail to get everyone off the road, even to air down.

If anyone else is coming up Route 8 from the south, via Pittsfield, etc. (not all the way to Savoy), let me know. We can meet up before going to the trail head.

Things are not looking too good for me, I busted a remote res hose for one of my front shocks, I have a replacement hose but it has the wrong thread on the ends (straight thread vs the old had pip thread) And between now and Friday i don't think I can get a new hose, rebuild the shock and find a place to fill it. So I"m out

Um... Go buy a shock that will keep you going. They arent that expensive. If you wont do that, keep in mind I do have an empty seat as of right now. And could use a shutterbug to take pics. Or a spotter.

Normally I am, but when I am sick and in need of sleep I am a little less. I'll make the next trip

Apparently there are some drawbacks to driving an 2 hours in the rain, no top, when it's only 40 or so out :P
