Smile Florida Rd Backwards Aug 17th 18th and 19th

There is room for a couple of truck for this little excursion .
If you know Florida rd in western MA then you know the trail.
There are 2 rock ledge obstacles one side of the mountain and then a down hill drive that wasnít to bad in the past.
Well that change after the flooding of a few years ago.
Recall southern VT a couple of years ago.
Our intention is to drive up this side of the mountain then over to the rock ledges. If we make good time we will turn around and do it again from the correct side.

Truck need to be well modded. Lift , tires, winch and recovery points front and rear
Let me know if you are interested. We have a camp site reserved for 6 truck but there is room for more if needed.
We currently have 2 heavily modified d2ís and 2 modified d90ís

Ron, what town is this near in MA? Could I just run a day or two and maybe spend one night? Not sure if I can get the multi-day pass from the wife, but if it's not too far from me in NY I'd like to shoot over.

Savoy Mountain campsite is close by. I'm heading up there the prior weekend.

Are you guys running trail each day? Real long shot but maybe I could get up for the Fri (17th) or Sat (18th). That trail was fun - would love to do it again.

Actually for once things seem to have worked out. I've got to be in the Lebanon Valley NY area Friday evening for an event, and ironically it happens to be about 40 miles from Florida MA. So I'm in to arrive on Friday evening, though may be late, and then wheel on Saturday (maybe spending Saturday night, just not sure yet).

Ron, I'll call you tonight or tomorrow.

Ken, when are you thinking of going on Friday?

Hey Ron - I am out as you probably guessed. Too much going on and the 90 just died backing out of the driveway this morning so probably a good call that I didn't go.

But have a great time - that trail is soooo much fun. And post some pics! Will get back there at some point.

Very unfortunately I'm out...had something pop up with the family and now can't escape for the evening. Bummer.

O man, that is a bummer - I knew you'd have a real fun time on those trails. And it shouldn't be that far from you depending how upstate you are for the next time they run that spot.
