I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new friends who have been behind the keyboard until now!!!! Thanks to all those folks who fall into that bucket that made the trek to Expo! Far away and around the corner... You know who you are.

Briggs you too have some new friends!

It's been a string of legendary weekends lately...this weekend was certainly no exception. What a damn blast is all I can say. What would a Rover trip be without losing my headlights 2 hours from home. Thanks to Jonesy for sticking around while I got it sorted (and his duct tape for my "trail" fix!).

Essentially lost high/low beams...which was NOT the switch, but actually the indicator stalk (with the manual flash high beams). Same thing happened to Galpin so I knew what it was...quick fix was to duct tape the indicator/flasher stalk pulled back so I had full time high beams. Sure, I pissed a bunch of motorists off for the rest of the drive...but I got home!

Didn't take a ton of pics but here's a few I have:

Am I the only one that has trouble posting pics via the app now from IOS8 on the iphone? I literally can *maybe* post 1 pic at a time, or it stalls out and freezes. I'll have to post them tomorrow from the computer.

Sounds likely. I just ordered up a couple relays for my new headlamps.

So ... It is possible ... You add the picture and while it fails to load, delete it and then add again. Then return to original message ... Add photo, delete and add again ...

It was great meeting and hanging out with everyone this weekend. You guys and gals have some amazing trucks. Let's plan to do this again next year...I'll bring the Bourbon and Skittles (too soon?).

What a great weekend. New friends, new memories (good and bad), and a hell of a good time. Total count in the LR camp was 67 trucks from series to LR4. Great showing guys and girls.
Note to self: never let Iamcraig play with the fire pit..... and bring more propane.
Thanks to all who traveled from near and far. Safe travels home.

Damn. Not at all. Had a friend not feeling well sat night, and expo was his bachelor weekend before getting married in 2 weeks, so we stayed lowkey that night. And I picked the rotten location by getting there so early and not knowing where the end of the rover line was. I had quite a few non-rover friends with me.

------ Follow up post added October 6th, 2014 11:13 AM ------

i was also staff. had to work the registration tents friday and Sunday, as well as help teach several classes.

I came home with two full bottles of port, and a fist full of cigars. Then there were all the lamb shanks, shrimp, steaks etc that didn't get eaten because we went out for several meals.
Guess we will eat well around here this week.

Great pictures Pedro.

Great pictures Pedro.
I love me some lamb too. I won't make that mistake again! Doug, I kept asking people if you had arrived since you didn't bring the 130, and nobody had seen you! WTF?
