Not really sure what the veiled comment from Robert was intended to mean....

Three trailers scheduled to arrive Expo:

All three ready to roll last Th AM

On Wed #1 called off

On TH number #2 called off

We delivered on Fri afternoon to Bill and dropped a few other parts off.

We were signed up as a vendor in one of the big spaces. I had a death in the family and had to reschedule a trip to the UK which ended up throwing the shop off schedule and keeping two truck in the shop that should have left a week before on a hard deadline.

Since it would not be real fair for us to be screwing around at Expo with hard deadline trucks off schedule we canceled the Expo stand, arranged delivery to Expo and stayed at the shop and worked; including this weekend.

So Robert..... if you have some sort of comment or issue with me or my business bring it up direct; no need to parse your words...

(If we had 10 more Sankeys we would have sold all 10 there. Barry went up to meet Bill L and had a blast. We appreciate the patience of all involved)

Great event.
The drive out Thursday was somewhat stressful in the OM617 powered 110.
About 100 miles out, the turbo started leaking oil past the seals and dumping the boost into the crankcase which blew oil past the front seal.
We made the 7hr trip in 10hrs with little or no turbo boost.
Friday Jeff and I drove into Asheville to see Doctor Dave and picked up a good used OM617 turbo from his "Mercedes Specialist" shop.
Then Jeff, Steve, Newman, and myself swapped it out after we met the shop foreman from Urban with Bills trailer and Mark's door tops.

It was still under powered, so Saturday checked the intercooler (which was proven fine when Kraig blew a deep breath through it) and changed the fuel filter which applied the final coup de grasse on the slow running.
Earlier, Jonsey and I dragged Jeff back to his shop again to pick up an intercooler (just in case we needed it) and to do a temp fix on Jonsey's exhaust.

Saturday evening we has a nice German meal (and language lesson from Calel's friend.
Later the first frost of the season settled in.
Jonsey had a nice tent heater and Shayne and his wife were still sleeping when we started for home.
It was great to meet Abe and his bride, Jeff's friends, Cosmo, and his friend "Skitles Bill" (it was all in fun and no harm meant), Shayne, Steve from Safari HP, Steve who helped with the turbo, Ralph (Marlon's friend), the shop foreman from Urban, and the other 100 people who came by.
It was good to see Uncle Douglas, Trey, Kraig, Newman, Josh, Jeff (the repair hero), Jonsey, The Mark, the other 3 Marks', Cabel and his clan, David Porter and his clan, Jack, Durk, Cathy, Woody, Jason, Justin & the Lucky 8 crew, Marlon, and the Dro.

Drove home today with Mark in record time between 75 and 85 MPH on the interstate.
Now to add a pressure bleed-off valve to gain more boost and thus more power.

Again thanks to everyone who helped and advised with the 110 repairs.
Another fun event without enough time to visit longer with all the good people.
If this becomes an annual event will be back.

Sounds like a great event, sorry I missed it. Can anyone give me some statistics for the ratio of adventure pants to non-adventure pants?

Well I can't say for sure. I do know one thing, I wore mine all weekend. I didn't want to be caught without them.

We had a great time. It was truly great to meet all of you good people. Thanks for the experience.
