So much for paying attention. The wind kept sticking the side of the tent to my ass cheeks so I'm sure someone must have gotten some entertainment out of it.

Oh yes, he'll come after work Friday, and he's bringing another friend, Jackson... They will add to the conversation. You bringing your sidekick?

Jeff,
Great pic, but doesn't do it justice with the 20 plus mph wind pressing the cold nylon against the bod.

Anyone have a spare bonnet hinge spacer they could bring? I have one that recently split and my bonnet comes off the hinge on the left side every time it's opened. It seems RN wants more in shipping than the item's worth.

Thanks!

Thanks Jeff, he has a $25 minimum and I don't need 12 of 'em.

Cats will sometimes pee in odd places when kept closed up without a litter box.
We took one to a rally years ago and it took a big leak in a 5 gallon can of dehydrated water and produced just over 5 gallons of cat pee.
The aroma was over powering and we had to trash the tent because my wife left the litter box in our 109.

If you paid money to buy a 5 gallon can of dehydrated water, then Josh has a fantastic deal on AMEX gift cards for you

Don't know what all the fuss is about showers. I used a bar of soap, a gallon of water and some wet wipes and did just fine. No quarters, no mud, no lines, no cold shower curtain against the buns and no foot rot lol..

EXPO to MAR

It looks like there will be a great crowd at the Overland EXPO EAST event this year. I know that there are a few folks considering doubling-up that weekend and heading for the Mid Atlantic Rally (MAR) for Sunday trail rides. I wanted to post up a couple of reminders and info-nuggets about this.

The MAR is offering one-day trail passes to EXPO EAST attendees. This is a partnership deal between the EXPO EAST folks and the ROAV folks and we hope to build on this synergy. EXPO EAST attendees can register for the MAR at the reduced price of $25 (plus $20 annual club membership). This gets a one-day trail pass for all of the trails on the mountain. Proof of EXPO attendance is required for this rate.

We realize that many folks might want to head toward the MAR later on Saturday night so that they can participate in the Saturday night auction and hit the trails first thing on Sunday morning. Saturday night camping will be allowed (plenty of space). Also, if folks want to buy a t-shirt or a meal ticket for our Saturday night BBQ dinner then you can do that, as well. The ROAV registration site (http://www.roav.org/Storez/store_id=3.html) has each item broken out as a separate purchase; full MAR registration, annual club membership, extra vehicles, t-shirts, and meals. EXPO EAST attendees can pre-purchase meals and t-shirts and will have to register on-site for the $25 day pass (cash or check - we do not have a wireless credit card machine).

If you think you are going to want a t-shirt or a meal then I suggest you pre-register for those items this week. We will try to have a few extra on hand but we can not guarantee availability for those items to be purchased on site.

With a great COVE event in the rear view mirror and the EXPO and MAR (... and URE11) fast approaching - it is a great year for off road opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

... new trails opened up at the MAR
