I can vouch for Mark, there was no more fruit punch from that moment on! Mark was a rock star in the jungle and behind the wheel but had a strange hang up with monkeys? I'm sure he can explain. Looking forward to the pics!

Our group has around 2k photo's and video we're uploading to the net. I'll do a writeup and share links after that. Need a few days.

Those pics on Land Rover USA are from the trip prior to mine in Jan with Equipt.

The write up has begun folks! The trip log is being posted over on expo since that forum is a little friendlier at embedded pics: http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...01#post1071401

I'll be posting gratuitous Defender shots in this thread though.

making a point to make progress on the travel log this week on expo. I'll start posting up a lot of photo's this week. To kick off, here's the first D I saw at Flores airport in Guatemala.

Also attached my first shots of Remus and Romulus, the NLX D's, as well as the Pinz that tagged along.

I've nicknamed that Pinz "Pumba" as it reminded me of the warthog in Lion King that was pushing it's nose into the jungle growth and plowing through everything carelessly. More on that in the writeup.

Way overdue I know, but I'm going to start organizing all my NLX Guatemala pics and video and start loading them on Facebook, finish my expo story and throw some overlanding candy here to document the most awesome man trip I've ever been on.

I can't wait for that Tampa ferry so I can get back there and get me some more of this...

Here's a starter. Let there be no doubt why limb risers exist.
(disclaimer-my first video upload here. hope it works)

It's a pipe dream til it happens. That's the best advise I can give you. I emailed the entrepreneur behind it and he added me to the notification list (or said he would).

I make sure to check for any news on it from time to time. Last hold up was funding issues from Europe that was bankrolling the effort. If you read through the forums, there are a lot of expats in Central and South America waiting on this to happen to, so they can drive back and forth between family and vacation condo's.

For a while there I thought the video didn't work. I'm going to put the videos together into a short story to post on youtube, since you can't upload video on expo portal. I'll post it here when it's done. and more pics.

Alot of my video was garbage though, as it wasn't until a 3rd of the way in to the trip I had the revelation that iphone's need to be horizontal for video.

Worked fine for me. Yes, please do. I'd love to see them. Looks like South and Central America is one of those must do adventures.
