Dusy Ershim Trail this weekend..advice?

It's my first time doing this trail. Anyone on here done it? Any advice? Anybody live near by the trail that could help with emergency parts requests?

It's going to be the D90, two Internationals, a jeep and a Lexus. Yes, a lexus.

Is it harder than the Rubicon?

Land Rovers are by far the best looking 4x4 on the back of a flatbed...

I don't know that it's harder but it is much longer.

I'm not very close, but somewhat regional. I've got a trailer, so if things go south I can drive down.

Done it 3 times in my LWB but would highly recommend taking someone along that has done it before.

Spend the 1st night @ Voyager campground (chicken Rock) next night after conquering Thompson hill There is a campground immediately to the left with a nice toilet Next night Ershim Lake and you could possibly be out the next day. Good luck.

Send Pics of the Lexus damage! It is very narrow in places and get used to pine tree sap

The 1st time I did it on 33" BFG's but later went to 34 &35"s... it is essential to have lockers F&R or make sure your buddies have a winch.

We always go late August.

It is 30 miles long and is harder than the Rubicon in my opinion ... absolutely gorgeous up there!

Old thread but informative
