Looking good. Is that a stock bumper? It sticks forward a lot more than normal. You'll want to remove that rear hitch if you plan on taking this off road.

Oh, and HTF did you get your tags so quickly? I went the the DMV few days before you bought this and they had to be mailed to me (still not here).

Charles I was able to get my antique plates immediately at the Arlington Gov't Center DMV (though I could only get the black and white ones). You may want to find an easier dmv.

Oh it's nice and close and never a long wait which are key criteria for me. About the most incompetent people in their profession (if you can call it a profession) though but I assume this is par for the course.

Jeez Charles, I just got it and only have so much time!

Oh yeah, the front bumper is going soon, and the rear hitch is next.

I do all my DMV stuff at the Pentagon - ZERO wait!

Friday is coming up fast. I wouldn't be caught dead with either.

Just kidding. So is that not a stock bumper? Why the space?

Doubt it. Definately a homolganized vehicle-not that there is anything wrong with that (as long as you don't roll into a river in the UK). Smooth roof, 93 and newer winshield brackets, push button doors, but then early roof sides, and disco drive train. Looks like there were several donor vehicles. Frame got a vin or is it ground off ?

Need to check on that frame VIN - that's on the front frame rail right? Left or right side?

Dumb Iron, That's a good option for the plates on the 109; like DMBIRON. I had thought it would be QUAGMYR (still first choice), or even LWB JOB. MASHUP was dropped due to it being too much like a wreck.

Hey I can drive that thing right now if I want. Won't get too far, but I can drive it. It might take a couple cans of starting fluid and it will surely lock up what's left of the Dana 20...tires are still holding air.

guys on an unrelated note check out this stupidity.....
on a related note my 4 rangies have received names of endearment....
my 87 "Frankie" short for Franksntein due to being pieced together from many donors.
former 90 rangie "phoenix" It was saved from an electrical fire, to top it off it was grey color inside and out.
current 95 lwb... "freebird" the name implies it, it was a freebie.
a 2002 p38 henkels and henkels editon owned for 1 year never on the road green colored, " 401k"... I purchased for 700.00 with a blown motor, sold at auction as is for 2500.00. hence the retirement plan 401k.

I'll be there if I'm not on an Airbus headed for Heathrow. Gotta see Jonathan's de-gayed.
