Death Valley and other National Parks

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask the defender community about visiting National Parks in Defenders, I had a chance to go to Death Valley and Zion, the grand canyon, and couldn't help but notice the absolute absence of defenders, when i myself didn't bring mine, it is not fair to ask, but I thought those places would be a perfect fit for a caravan of Defenders, i actually rented do I dare to say, a Jeep..very well behaved, but just not a defender,
If anybody has ever thought of organizing trips to the National Parks, I would definitely love to consider joining,
the heat was 100 and up, so maybe old defenders are just not cut for this?
Please share your experiences if you have done a trip like that in a Defender, thank you!
(with pictures would be great!)

I went with the NCLR Nor Cal Land Rover club. My 110 was running hot and required a lot of driving with the heater on (usual culprits, loose fan belt, dirty radiator, boost leaks, wrong T stat, etc) but it did great considering. Click image for larger version
