D90 Video: Wintergreen to Shoetree (WFS)

Wanted to share a video of some Blue Ridge Mountain trail riding shenanigans with some D90s on a beautiful July weekend.

Thanks to 1of40 for setting it up and for making sure I didn't rip my diff off my rig! Had a great time!

Looks like a fun trip. Great opening scenes and final scene.

Yep. The drive in on the video is the way there. Took the family up there one day in my stock Disco and passed a group of big lifted Jeeps that must have been in super low gear for as slow as they were going. Can't imagine what they were thinking watching a family pass them in a stock Disco out for a picnic.

Yeah that valley you pass through to get to the bottom of the trail is incredible. One of Virginia's best, dead give away. That and I had never heard of ShoeTree other than those used in ones closet.

Flip flops on the trail? I thought 90 folks required Italian loafers, Goose has them. I always enjoyed that trail. Combined with Big Levels makes a nice easy day trip for people just getting into the whole off-road thing.

We had those bases covered. Steak, crab cakes, shrimp and corn hit the spot perfectly.
