I can neither confirm nor deny any involvement.

To tell the whole story while Jonesy and I were adjusting the valves on his 110 (which were way out) the three 17 year olds started playing with my axe and splitting maul that were laying on the ground by our firewood stash (as seen above in the back of Kents truck). The dead white oak tree apparently beconed to them and they made us a bet that they could cut it down in 10 mins. Jonesy said "you are on. $100 if you can cut it down in 10mins". Frank set his iphone for a 10min countdown. The acura was their idea to put a strain on the trunk to make it cut faster. The heart of the oak was hard as concrete and they missed the 10 mins by a huge margin. Since they were busting ass and we found it humorous Jonesy told them $5 off for every minute over so they kept @ it, taking turns with the axe. Yes Goose and I were jeering and cheering their antics which quickly drew a crowd of on-lookers. It was a like watching comedy central. Once they all had blistered up hands and were out of breath and tired, the jerking the trunk with the truck started. @ first they used tow straps which is why you see the rear of the truck 20 inches off the ground. Then they got mouthy with Zack to the point that he hooked them up with a kinetic setup so the mdx went flying, the stump would make a cracking noise and the mdx would slingshot backwards 1.5 car lengths. This went on for well over an hour. Good times.

Please " Papi " if you are telling stories, share with the Boys and Girls the retrieval of your keys post valve adjustment *LMAO*

HOWEVER, and for the record, I would never egg my nephew Matt, although as Doug stated, we were cheering from the sidelines, and may have suggested the use of a vehicle.. although my memory of the exact details were clouded by the pleasurable moment of you getting the keys *LMFAO

I said it last year, and I'll say it again - by far the best event of the year hands down. Special thanks to Gustavo of course, for making it all happen!

Here's a bunch of pics from the weekend that I took:

Oh Matt was listening to his Uncle Gustavo & his Uncle Douglas....a lot.....

Hence, we have a video that will be posted soon! - Zack?

Jeez, I had a great time as usual, and yes the bumper was fixed - can't wait to wheel with a +2" lift!!!! But special thanks to Uncle Douglas and Uncle Robert for the pointers in gaping the valves...and Uncle Douglas for riding along and showing me just how wonderful it is to roll with a diesel on the trails vs a V8 - changed man I am!

Awesome pics, Lav.

That was my first event as a Land Rover owner, and I have to say, Ive never had such a great time. I cant wait for the next one.

The new truck ran better than any of us could have asked for, and it performed so well on the trails that it made me feel like Ive been wheeling for years. Now its time to wrap up the build with a few more key elements (cage, soft top, etc.)

I cant thank all of you who helped make this weekend possible for me enough. I have to recognize, once again, Charles Galpin. Thank you for making all of this happen, from the very beginning. Charles was the one who came up, and ran with, the idea of getting me a new truck, and has led the way through every step of the process, all the way up to this weekend where he gave me my first lessons in wheeling. Couldnt have a better leader.

I also need to thank Craig Jones. Jonesy has been a top contributor to my new truck since the Operation began months ago, and then he put the icing on the cake this weekend when he bought the new Warn winch at the auction last night for my truck. I owe you big time. Cheers, mate.

Looks like a fantastic showing of some of the best dudes. It's been too long since my last visit to the cove, and since my last Fall event (Winter events are great but the events when we get to use our camping chairs are always the best!). Did anyone stay in the cabin? Looks like some great wheeling and especially some great times off of the trail which are what I always miss the most once the pics and stories start being posted! Feeling nostalgic.

Yes- Goose, Frank, and Andrew.
There were some strange sounds originating from the cabin...a sort of snoring battle I'm told.
