Chris,

Here are the fees

The Cove Campground will collect a $25.00 flat fee for each trail vehicle plus camping fees.

3 nights camping is $60 per adult
2 nights camping is $50 per adult
kids under 12 are $25 for 2 or 3 days camping.

An example of total cost ( including Conclave registration and The Cove fees ) :

A single ( 1 ) person arriving on Thursday and departing on Sunday will pay a total of $90.00 + 25.00 +$60.00 = $175.00

A single ( 1 ) person arriving on Friday and departing on Sunday will pay a total of $90.00 + 25.00 + $50.00 = $165.00

If you bring a child under 12, please add $ 25.00 to the aforementioned cost

Thank you

This year, no rover. Just my beast of burden (Suburban) and my 1/4 ton trailer/rtt. How does registration work for me other than the Cove camping fees?

Mark: I did the same thing last year - and rode along. I just paid the whole amount as if I was driving, figuring it went to a good cause. But, you can get by with just the registration and camping fee...no 4wd daily fee

Just a heads up to you guys coming down Friday,

I just got off the phone with Daniel from The Cove and he alerted me that VDOT will be shutting down the bridge on the S-Curve on Back Creek Rd starting Friday, Sept. 19th for repairs. There is going to be a detour, but due to a lack of roads and crossings in the area, the detour is about 15 miles long from what he said. So take that into consideration when planning your travels.

It is lower than same time last year
It appears people are waiting to the last minute, but we are very serious about closing registration next Friday, so we can properly ship the numbers, shirts, etc , also, so we can wheel with all of you
