I don't *know* them but I was in a group of trucks with them being led by Trevor G last year at Rausch.

I think I only saw 3 Range Rover Classics at Conclave; mine, Rob Bass', and the NYC one so there was no mistaking which one drove into the lake.

Maybe they could apologize for a boneheaded move?

Anyway, I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie...

Better watch your back then. I know several people who were friends with him for a long time before he fucked them over too. Some just take longer than others but he pretty much burns every bridge at some point.

He wasn't banned from the Cove, however.

I know you fully understand but I'll spell it out for you anyway. I have seen you sit there with your goofy ass shit eating grin while people have discussed Chapman in a negative way and never once have you stepped in to defend him, or even try find out what really happened. Yet you will blindly take whatever rendition he has blown up your ass and want to act authoritative here about something you have only heard of. Give it up.

I don't know what his status at the cove is and don't care - but I do know he's certainly not welcome at the conclave. If you want to wordsmith stuff then you can leave it at "he was banned from the conclave".

That is my soon to be co-worker, I'll let him know he dun-goofed if he doesn't already. That being said, I always try to find a water crossing to clean off mud after one of these events. I got in trouble at The Cove for using a water hose to clean the mud out of my radiator. My understanding was that my camping fee included water, but apparently not.

I've witnessed at least two fights at Big Dogs events, although the cops never showed up and they were broken up pretty quickly.

And yes NAPA mounts work fine. Had to cut a bit the bolt that was maybe 1/2" too long (could have worked, would just not have looked clean install).

I only recall 3 people mentioning him the whole weekend and you weren't around.
So my goofy ass shit eating grin must have been because of something else?
Sounds like you had a problem with me being there, too.
Why didn't you speak up?

Can you point out where I was acting authoritative?
Here is what I said:

Previously, I was talking about the NY Range Rover being banned.

It's a natural occurrence when you combine 300 Jeeps and swill like Bud Lite.
Just don't assault the fish in the lake with your tires.

Thanks to Gustavo & Lucky8 for organizing this deal..
I see you were offended by my casual reference to "assault".
I wasn't really referring to you and DC, I was just making light of Jeep fights at the Cove.

I'm going to leave it at that.

I was stuck wheeling in BF Iowa this weekend while you all were at conclave. PLEASE keep the pictures coming!

Could someone clarify about the napa motor mount kit? This would be very valuable information to know in a pinch. Would it work on a series?

My homies Andy and Rick brought their hybrid down. For those of you who didn't get to see it (like myself) on the Corum:

I saw Andy's rig on Corum...crazy build. He said he pretty much built it all himself from the ground up. The hydraulic steering and drivetrain is out of this world.

Nope he's just doing the same thing Jeff is. Insinuating something didn't happen or making less of it in an attempt to deflect away from what really did happen. The only one butt hurt is them.

Jeff, I wasn't talking about this weekend specifically - you and I have known each other for a while now too and go to a lot of the same events, and sadly he comes up as a topi of discussion all the time. I'm just tired of sitting here biting my tongue while these idiots play games. I don't give a shit about chapman and couldn't be more happy with him out of my life, but if you want to talk about him you are welcome to anytime. I am done here too. It was a great event, only spoiled by one small action which hopefully doesn't cause problems for the event going forward.

The series buggy was cool and looks to have been well built. No expense spared either!

It was really clean too (minus the mud . The series body was pretty much pristine. I really liked the challenge wings up front and the extra thick front body panels.

4-link rear and 4-link front, atlas 4-speed tcase, spyder trax axles front and rear. I really liked his front 4-link geometry. So cool!

And it rode like a Cadillac up corum from what Ed and Zack said. It was quite impressive...with more time behind the wheel of it Andy will become unstoppable off road. I love the fact it is street legal too.

It's too bad a lot of people didn't go this year because of last year's Cove fee issue. Camping wasn't nearly as pricey this year.
