Sounds like a plan! Let's shoot for 530 or so.

Hey guys! How about Aug. 20th? I am coming into town for a buddy's wedding and thought I'd see if you guys are free that Friday.

We're driving to Seattle either the 20th or 21st, so I'm iffy then. Doubtful the 110 will be done by then anyway...

Well, it started with a leaky, whiney, loud LT230....and will probably end with a new R380, rebuilt LT230 and a 4.6 since I can get a pretty good deal on the R380 and 4.6. At 150k miles, might as well make it all new again (even though the 3.9 is currently flawless).

Darn! I have something going on that afternoon/evening. I'll watch what you all come up with and if I can show up late I will.

So what's up with your 110 Andrew? Is it all done? Do you still have it?

Thanks Rod, I appreciate that! Currently struggling with whether or not to have the heads worked over. Supposedly only a few thousand miles on the 4.6. Might be good insurance, but it is another $600 or so.

Nope, it's good. I'm very happy with the 200Tdi in there.

Rolled into town this morning on a house-hunting trip. We'll be moving up here to Colorado Springs in about three weeks.

You'll love Colorado Chris!

Well, I am free Friday and Monday nights and probably Saturday as well, so if any of those dates work for you guys, I'd love to catch up and have a few drinks!

Hey Rod! We gotta new brew pub in town that we need to try. It's at I-25 & Interquest:

http://www.cmbrew.com/

Enzo and I were at Trinity for lunch the other day and the rep for Oskar Blues was sitting at the bar. We had a good conversation about their brews. Looks like Trinity is gonna be getting Gordon on tap (http://www.oskarblues.com/the-brews/gordon)! Nom, nom.

Awesome guys, thanks. If y'all get together for a beer, I will try and join you. Not sure what the schedule is going to be with house hunting and all.

Guys, what do you think about Woodland Park? Is that a tough commute to Fort Carson? Would my wife need a 4WD to manage the drive in the winter?

Ute Pass (Hwy 24) is slow and twisty and gets even slower when it snows. You don't always need a 4WD in the winter (the roads clear up pretty fast), but if you both commute, there'll be days when two 4WDs are needed. We looked hard at Woodland Park when we first moved here 13 years ago, but my Wife didn't like the shorter growing season up there.

^What Chance said.^
I guess its what you're willing to tolerate. I'd live up there. People do get by without 4WD but I wouldn't want to.

Thanks, she just nixed the idea of Woodland Park. Too far for a Fort Carson commute. We're now looking at homes in the Patty Jewett area north of Downtown.

I telecommute to a company back in Texas and I'm looking for a small commercial property to rent as an office. I've been looking for a small auto garage with a shop bay and a little office so that I can work on the truck during downtime.

That's a nice area. A buddy of mine might still have his house for sale in that area. It's at Hancock and Cache le Poudre.

Talk to Eric at Pikes Peak Rovers. Maybe he'll rent you some space.
