Darn it... Karaoke Night is Weds, not Thurs...

I'm good either way. Perhaps too trusting, but I'll follow the locals' advice on venue.

Wow...does that bring back memories. The night Mike Hansen sang "Ringo". Sounded just like Lorne Greene. There wasn't a dry eye in O'Malleys that night!

Hey Chris! Will thursday work for you too?

I thought it was Rawhide that he sang.

Right then, O'Malley's it is. This Thursday @ 1730.

Rod was right it was Ringo! I just remember that embarrassment I had when the women kept tossing their undergarments on stage

Hey kids, how’s the weather down is there? Looks like golf ball size hail in the weather warning. I wonder how bad that would be on the fine British body work.

it's beautiful down here. I brought the great DC weather with me. Sun is shining, birds are chirping, and the chicks are taking their tops off. Good enough for a Tea Party!

Chris, we waited for you, the evening's host. Instead, we had to listen to Mike singing "Feelings" to karaoke. Apparently, if you can carry a tune, have a Rover (or 5), shoot guns, and drink beer, you'll fit right in... A good group of guys and gals!

It was really great to meet you Ken! If all the VA guys are as nice as Ken then they're all invited out to drink with us, too. Bring your guns and rovers.

And you're right...nobody does "Feelings" like Hansen!

Chris, I'm sorry we missed you. I'm going to be out of town til Sunday night but if you'll still be around and want to grab a cold one just say the word!

Good to meet you Ken, thanks for coming out (to drink, that is ). Good times. Chris, sorry we missed you! Good luck with the house hunt. Don't let this weather deter you. We got a 12" last night with more on the way today.

Crap, I'm so sorry guys. My plane was late, we sat in the plane at COS for half an hour waiting for the stairs and when I finally got my rental car, I just hit the nearest restaurant and hauled ass for my hotel room at the USAFA. What a surprise it was to wake up with 6" of snow on the ground.

Now I'm holed up in my hotel room reading about all of the area trails and camping possibilities.

I'll be back out at least once more before the move; maybe we can try again then?

Typical spring storm; still snowing here. We just got power back after 24 hours. Closing in on 3' now.

Sure thing, just post here when you're coming back. Sorry we missed you!

Welcome to Colorado, Tony!

Business or pleasure?

I work in lower downtown, but I usually blow town around 3:00 to beat traffic and get home to let the dog out before it can leave me a present on the rug. Having said that, I would sure try to make arrangements that would allow me time for a beer with a visiting foreign dignitary.

Do you have any plans made already? Did you bring any guns or rovers?

Have you ever heard Ken Loy sing "Danka Schoen"?

I work in Lodo as well (actually just across the Highland bridge)--maybe grab a happy hour drink while you're in town, Tony and Rod? Got my 90 running finally--I missed it when it was down for repairs...

Croicky!!!
I fear the hostesses at one of our local talent clubs my have shanghaied our visitor from out of town!

Chris, I'll check Shotgun Willie's if you want to stop in to the Diamond and see if Tony is passed out in the corner up in the V.I.P. room...perhaps its not too late!

Glad you got your engine sorted out, Chris. I've always been impressed that you rebuilt that thing from scratch.

Dude!

I've had something come up tomorrow, but since it's just you and me, how about O'Malley's on Saturday night? Or is there a bar up closer to you that you'd rather hit?

Perfect!
I thought maybe I'd install my Kreutzer-Super-Turbo on Saturday and a nice little trip down to O'Malley's would be a good test drive. Say when, or just give me a hollar when you're free Saturday. I'll be out in the garage drinking beer...imagine that!
