yeah...the 16th works for me 2. I may not have a drivable 90 to show off though. Depending on how long this head gasket swap takes me. Might have to meet at my place for the first round of beers.

Well, shite. Looks like I may be out of town on the 16th. You guys have fun without me. If things change, I'll certainly be there. Brannigan's in Castle Rock, right?

Branigans is good with me if it is with everyone else, but I'll go just about anywhere for beer. Plus, I am good just about any date if we want to change that.

Just to reiterate, I won't be there tomorrow. It sounds like the other fellas have bailed, too. I'm not trying to speak for them but you might see if anyone gives you a definite yes before you dedicate your evening.

I am looking forward to a little Alaska talk over a couple cold ones at another date!

How's the engine coming?

My gasket rebuild kit finally came and there were a couple gaskets that got damaged in shipping. I have new ones coming. The motor is up on the stand and started into the rebuild a little. I am thinking I might want to find a shop to do my heads for me. If anyone knows of one that deals with that particular motor, I would be interested. other then that, I haven't yet started into the removal of the motor in the 90 so I will be able to drive into town tomorrow night.

I drove by that place on my way home from work today. looks like a nice Irish pub. Either way I might stop there to have dinner. So if anyone can still make it, I will be there around 8ish.

I am always up for talking about the Alaska expedition. I have a lot of little mods that i want to do before I set sail. It will be good to get advice to from others on things.

until then

Cheers,
Ryan

I thought there was a chance I could make it, but I'm definitely out this evening. Bummer.

Ryan, call Eric at Pikes Peak Rovers. They have a shop that they use down in the Springs.

BTW, Eric called me and said that a customer backed out of a new AB 4.6 short block and they'd be willing to let it go for $3800. I'd be all over it if my situation allowed.

Soooo, shall we try and plan another time since everybody's plans seems to have fallen apart?
I'll start. I'm available 1/30, 2/6 or 2/20. After that, we're off to NZ fer a bit.
