I had planned a Deefer owners pikanika for sometime in early June. I could try to set up something firm..
What is a good Day/Weekend to do this?

I won't be around till the 3rd weekend of June, so if it's earlier I'll catch up with you guys later.

This time I need to eat before I start drinking, I hate to introduce my date with a different name again. I have a new one this time and I really like her

I can't make the weekend of the 28th or whatever it is because of country jam. Anytime before that works though.

I think its a country music festival held a little west of Grand Junction. I think its the weekend before, though...unless Andrew just figures its going to take him a week to sober up from it.

Follow-up Post:

I'm out the last weekend of the month. The Grenadiers are calling.

Yeah, its a 4 day country music festival. It is June 26-29th, so that weekend is dead for me.

What place are you thinking? I'm up for pretty much anyplace, as long as it isn't too rediculous of a trek from Broomfield.

Sounds like the 13th or 20th would be the best for some of us.

You're right about those dates too, Andrew. When I googled the event I got some lame "Colorado things to do" type of web site that had the wrong dates...So much for trying to be helpful. Damn...Grand Junction at the end of June, that's going to be freakin' hot! We're talkin' some serious hydration, right there.

Heck, I'm even up for a rediculous trek. After all, its the "drive around topless" time of year!

The Buck Snort in Pine would be a ridiculous trek... We could go the back way and get some dust in our teeth first. Probably have to do that on a Saturday though due to the drive time.

I'm open for anything. The usual?

I'd love to, but it's a drive and might be best done on a Saturday so everybody has time to get there.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...3&ie=UTF8&z=10

If we're sticking to Friday, then let's just do Brannigan's again. How's the 20th then for everybody?
