Hey Sean, was there supposed to be a smiley in there somewhere? Sounds like fun, but I don't know what kind of turnout we'd have.... The Wife would be a bit PO'd though. I can see it now, "See ya tomorrow honey, I'm going for a beer."

Seriously though, I'd be up for meeting in Breck for a beer sometime. We usually spend a weekend every month up at the cabin outside Alma...

I'm up for something - this Friday. I was going to suggest the Irish Pub in Castle Rock. I need to chat with Chance and Rod about a couple of things. Mark

just remember I'm in Boulder/Broomfield so I don't want to drive too too far!

Castle Rock is alright...Breck is a bit of a trek, but it'd be alright once winter hits and I can go for a weekend and ski too!

Sounds good to me. Uh oh, that sounds rather ominous... Could it perhaps be 110 related? Hmm?

OK, so this Friday at the usual Irish Pub in Castle Rock? 5:30ish?

You read my mind about ski season. I say that come ski season we do a Happy Day (of skiing) followed by a Happy Hour (or two) at the bar. We're about 20mi from Breck, so anybody that wants to can flop at our Kaczynski-esque cabin.

Yea, I did leave off the smiley but it was on purpose. I thought if I made it sound authoritative you would just willingly agree to it. maybe ski season would be a better time for us to host one. There are a bunch of Eagle county boys up here and I know I never need an excuse to drink one. Cheers and have fun down there. BTW the low tonight is forecasted at 32. Snow will be here soon.

5:30 sounds good. You feelin' guilty about something, Rod? No trouble on my end - just need some local-boy advice. And of course we have to have the obligatory 110 discussions.... Mark

Just got word that my Mother-in-law is going to be in town, so I'll have to bail a little early (probably before 7 or so). Therefore, I'm going to try and get there closer to 5pm.

I'll be there Andrew.
Can't have a pub go out of business from lack of patronage.

Hope its nothing serious, Chance. Let me know if I can help.

How does this month look? How about the Rockbottom off 25 again, or something else in that vicinity?

Unfortunately, I've got something going on every freakin' Friday evening this month. The only POSSIBLE exception might be the 12th. Plans may change there.

On another note, any of you guys going to LR Flatirons vintage day this Saturday? Amelie and I are headed up there in the 110. Here's the info:

I have attached the Vintage Day and Swap meet event poster for you to all remember to mark your calendars. If you are planning on displaying your latest creation of a Land Rover vehicle I would like a email response back or a phone call back from you guys so I can compile a list of vehicles. The display vehicles and vendors need to be here not later than 8:30 in the morning of the event October 6th to set up. I will be supplying the tables for display and you are responsible for the chairs you might want to sit on. A catered lunch will be provided as well. The grand prize for the event best of show winner voted on by the public is a certificate at the Land Rover Driving Experience School in Carmel California. So spruce up your rigs and make your vehicle the best of show. I am not to sure if last years champion will be able to make the event. It will be open game for all. If I have contacted you already as a vendor I am again looking for some great raffle prizes for give away please let me know what I can count on.

I'll be there...its right across the street from me anyway!

Other days work for me, I don't know about others but it doesn't have to be Friday if another day works better.

Chance/Andrew - I'll be at FlatIrons. Last year was a fun - it's just another excuse to socialize with Rover zealots. I'll be better prepared this year with camp chairs and cooler (Dunkel). Mark
