HA! After leaving the 80 degree weather this morning for mounds of snow here in DC, I truly wish I were back in CA...Barry better go with you.

I will say he handled it like a champ. Most people would of been crying after laying a D90 that pristine on its side but Abeer was resolved to get back out on trail again. Good meeting you and hope to see you on another trip. How did it run on the way home?

Truck made it home fine and started and ran well today. There is some body damage on the right fender and some scrapes along the right side. Overall, I say the truck came out of it pretty well after we figured out how to get it started again. John, thanks a lot for the winch help and everything else.
Basically what happened was we were on a steeper part of the slope and I let the clutch out a little too fast. The truck shot forward which surprised me cause we were in Low and 1st gear, and we ended up a little high on the left bank of the trail and then we flopped over. I'll post some pics of the trip later this week. You guys have a body shop to recommend in west la area?

Thats good to hear. Overall not much to worry about. I dont think any of us have had much success finding a westside body shop for the Defenders. Golden Hammer in west la is the body shop for Hornburg. They are extremely expensive so if insurance isnt going to cover just get their estimate and go elsewhere.

Golden Hammer is terrible. Talk to Larry at four oaks. He has a good shop that he uses

sclr.org There should be a trip report with links to pics and video. All pretty tame stuff. As evidenced by the dozen or so stock Lr3s.

Sorry to see the roll Abeer. lucky it was only on its side and doesn't seem too bad. Its sad to see a 94 Coniston that looks all to similar to mine on its side! good luck.
