Once again, anyone planning to go?

LAND ROVER IS THE FEATURED MARQUE THIS YEAR (although it is the 62nd anniversary not the 60th, hmmmm)

If memory serves there were only two or so last year. The display area was entirely empty of Land Rovers, except for a certain blue 90. Can't get excited about it.

I went in 08 just to see what it was like. Paid for parking and walked in, saw there were defenders and thought, why not? They credited me the parking fee towards the entry fee - I think it was like an extra $5 to enter a car, versus parking!

It was really neat, and they had a lot of cool older british cars to drool over. I won't make it this year, I don't have a running Defender, and can't take the Bonneville as it's the ultimate posuer-cycle.

Worth the trip!

I am thinking of going with the R.O.V.E.R.S. people if I don't have to work.

My truck ended up in pieces on the garage floor last night, so I am no longer going.

I went, it was fun, I got in trouble with the GF since I made us stay too long. Lots of folks asking about the 90. There was a 93 or 94 200tdi Camel Trophy Disco. That was pretty neat.

Treasured Motorcars was there with some parts as usual and had two quite decent looking 90/110 front seats asking $20.00 for the pair. I turned it down only because I have no room for them. They didn't last too long after that, someone else bought them within 10 minutes.

Trae forgot to mention that he won. Being the gentleman that he is, he gave me the award and said that he "has the real trophy". Classy.
