British by the Sea - CT

Anyone going to the British by the Sea in Waterford, CT? I'm trying to get a neighbor of mine to go. He's got a Series III.

It's this Sunday from 10-4 at Harkness Park.

JP, I can bring your parts.

Neil

Myself and another fella from RI are headed down there with my IIA and his III. There are a few series owners who post on the Guns and Rovers site who will be camping at nearby Rocky Neck state park Friday and Saturday. They posted an open invitation / FYI.

Had a great time today. Weather was gorgeous! Lots of Series, a few Defenders and one pristine NAS 110 with 44K miles that looked factory new. It was the Guilford, CT Dealership's.

Funny thing was that when the NAS 110 pulled in with another NAS D90, they didn't even park by us. At that time there were about 15 of us. They needed their own spot, apparently. They were kindly asked by the people running the show to park next us. It was a pretty sight though.

Anyways, had a great time. Met some more very cool Rover people.

Enjoy the pics!

Had a great time seeing the whole bunch.

As an added bonus, a nice older couple offered me a roof rack for by D1 for free. I drove by today and threw her on. Nice Brownchurch rack and a load space cover that I will be giving to a buddy of mine.

Chris, where are you located in Norwich?

I will be wrenching on the rover on Saturday, adding a tailgate, rocker cover seal, etc.

Stop by if you'd like.

PM me for more details.
