Did your friend go with Garrett from OEX? He is a good friend of mine since I got into Rovers.
They do a nice Iceland trip from what I hear...

there, I fixed it for you

armed with less than 100% correct information, Porsche people, or over-exuberant PCA members specifically make owning a Porsche a painful experience sometimes.
Nothing worse than a new PCA member/Boxter owner who's done a weekend of DE and wants to weigh in on air cooled P-cars.

I think so, but I'm not sure. I'll ask when I see him again.

Bruce has done the Iceland trip for years I guess.
My friend Garrett has done it a few times since joining Bruce 5 or 6 years ago.
I'd love to do it...

Per Chris T

"Reservation for 12 people at 6:30. Gives a few spots for a couple more to make it last minute.
Added some time for people to get there and chat."

A September meet-up is being proposed for Saturday September 27th somewhere south of Boston. Venue has not yet been determined and the proposal is to meet for a hearty breakfast.

I wanted to give area owners a heads-up sooner than later so you would have time to plan.

More details soon.

If anyone has a recommendation on venue please don't hold back.

Cheers!

Ok. It's a bit last minute but since I didn't receive many confirmations for a Saturday morning breakfast meet up, so we will schedule another sometime in October on a Thursday evening at a location south of the city so that some others can attend. I'll post a proposed date and location next week.

"Also, I just received a note from Chris Tullmann about a meetup tomorrow night. Here's the content of his email:

A bit last minute, but a few of us are going to meet at British Beer Company on rt 9 in Framingham again tomorrow (Thursday) night.

We will meet at 6pm. I think there are 6 or 7 already interested. Peter Vollers is coming through the area, so we thought we'd try and get a few others out to say hello.

Hope you've had a good summer and been out to play in the Rovers.

Chris"

So perhaps some of you can make it tomorrow night.

I'm going to try but may arrive a little late.

Cheers,

Joe
