Big Dogs Gove Va. Apr 26th and 27th

Anyone up for going to this? I have signed up for trails 6 and 7 with the mid atlantic jeepers. It would be nice to see some more rovers up there. Here is the website if anyone is interested.

I'll be in NY that weekend. I might make the Collosal Cannines trip on the 5th/6th with my local club though.

Charles,
Are you still planning on the Uwharrie April 8-11 ? Still kicking the idea around myself.
Would want a travel companion for a road trip that long in my antique.

Yes, and I'd appreciate conveying too (I'm taking Janey)! I'll have my 8 year daughter as well.

But I think it's the 10-13th no?

Rob, I'm planning to go and may have a couple of other friends with D's joining if their work schedules permit. I'll look you up and sign up for the same trails so we can hopefully represent. i take it you've been there before? I've been before and looking forward to it. Their trails are tough.

I'll be there with the OCC crowd. Let's try do a meet up at some point. Clay, they have easy trails too. I'll be taking Janey so keeping it low key myself.

I am going with the Mid atlantic jeepers. I don't know what trails we will be running but I hope to see you there. We will be arriving around 4-5 on Friday. It will be nice not being the only rover there for the first time.

Easy trails? You mean the access roads?

not only are the trails tight, steep and off-camber; its a rough crowd that just love to see a rover take a good beating.

It is a little red up there but the majority of the group are normal. We will be camping by the entrance, where you pay your camping fee. Looking forward to seeing some Rovers up there.

Sorry I didn't look you guys up. The weather was a factor, and the OCC group ended up going off on our own with the Tidewater folks both days - I barely saw any of the rest of the crowd.

What trails do you guys run? Did you enjoy it?

Went up ET which was fun but way too many trucks on the trails. Met a guy who towed his 63 109 series with 200td on his 93 110. Nice set up! I split on Saturday at 6pm. Looked like the rain was heading in. Way too many assholes up there. Love the trails but unless you are driving a Jeep might as well be a leper.
