Anyone Familiar with Off-Road Course @Gladstone, NJ US Equestrian Facility?

Hi Fellas,

Quick question: we were invited to go to a dealership event with Land Rover Monmouth (NJ) that takes place at the US Equestrian Facility in Gladstone, NJ on Sept 14th.

Is anyone familiar with this course & if so, is it worth taking the trip up?

Yeah I was going to say it's either at the Natirar estate or Hamilton Farms (where they've held it in the past). If it's at the equestrian center then it'll be Hamilton Farms. Great old estate, awesome golf course, and some of the best stables in the country. I was invited a few years ago but couldn't make it. Have had friends who've gone and said it was fun though.

You will probably have fun if you go, but it will likely be a pretty tame course since LR2's and Evoques have to use the same course likely.

Cool, thanks for the heads up Josh & Jimmy! I guess we'll go check it out then . . . can't go wrong with free food, right? Like going to Costco for samples, with slightly more mud.

If you've never been to one, they are always worth checking out. If you don't like it, you never have to go again and it was just an average day. Still better than going to a movie.

That said, we have fun at the dealer wheels events in Texas. But I've heard some things about the ones up north from one of the Camel Trophy guys here. He said the ones north tend to be "wine and cheese" parties. Geared more to the Wall St type than the adventure enthusiast.

Now.

Didn't use to be.

I think the changed started in the late 90s didn't it?
