I am going south from Manchester. I can't see driving north to get to 91 to go south. I am planning on leaving around 5:45. I figure 2.5 hours to get there in the old D. If anyone wants to cruise together just let me know. I live right near 93 and 101 so I could meet up with people where ever it is convenient. Should be a good time.

Dennis, I'm right next to derry and 93 as well so I'm definitely up for meeting up. I'm not sure which way you'd want to take. Either 101 or 93. I think there're ways to get there from both.

your best bet is 93 to 495 then route 2 to 91 south

If you are coming from Chester we could meet @ the mobil station @ exit 1(off 101), they have a Dunkin Donuts. I think 93/101 > 3 > 495 > 2 > 202 should be a good route.

If you are asking me about the event we're doing Saturday, the answer is - NO. This is not Ma Bell or any trail any of you have been on before.

Dave and I live out here and we spend weekends scouting out places we can run

In addition, on another sporting note . . . after this event we will be going to the Umass basketball game and any of you are welcome to come with us there. If you choose to come you can be our guests at the halftime reception also.

Follow-up Post:

Any of you guys coming here (to my house in Amherst, MA) can email robison@robisonservice.com or phone me at 413 531 6377.

People are meeting at my house at 8:30 or Dave Rifken's at 9:15. We will actually depart from Daves but my house is on the way for most of you

Lyman, we have some very rough sections of this trail system. I would not be so quick to dismiss the challenge. We are prepared to go several ways on these roads, depending upon the level of difficulty.

In case anyone wondered, My rover made it home fine. After we left the MaBell lot I never had a problem again. John, thank you very much for the trailside tune-up, it ran better on the way home. Now the fun begins searching out the problem. Aside from the trouble I had with my truck, I had a great time, thank you to everyone who came and in particular those who ran the event.

Well, we had a good time and we did make it to the 5 o'clock basketball game, but an hour late!

Here are some photos of the event:

We'll try and put together another run, perhaps in the trails farther west, before snow falls.

John
