Alabama

Ok, I know your out there but where, where are all the Land Rover owners in Alabama? I have a Land Rover 90 Im working on for trail use and there are several offroad parks around Birmingham, would like to hear from other owners in the area or the state so we could plan a ride at one of these parks. Thanks Johnny

Johnny,

Let me know when you want to plan something, I would drive over... I have been to Gray Rock a few times.

Justin, do you have a Black ST?

Good to hear from all of you, leaving for Mar in less than 2 weeks so we should plan on taking Tim up on his offer some time in Oct. if thats good for everyone. I will have to look at my work callender and of course its up to Tim since we are going to invade his property,by the way Tim I sent you an email to your work with a picture of my 90 last week, hope you got it. I hope to meet others from Al and Georgia when I go to Virginia, already been talking to a disco owner from Mobile so maybe we can get something going on around here on a regular basis.I can be pretty persistant once I set my mind to it so we just may end up with a pretty good crowd gathering around here. Thanks Johnny

Johnny,

We have a sizable group going to Uwharrie ORV park Oct 23-25th. It is in El Dorado, NC. If you have time, it would be a great event for you.

Hey Scott ,thanks for the invite. My 90 is an 84 and currently off road only(no tag no insurance)but I do tow it to close areas. The trip sounds good though, dont know if I could pull that off after just getting back from Virginia(90 wont be making that trip either) If anyone from the Bham area decides to go post it here. Thanks Johnny

x2 on Uwharrie.

It's a haul but the venue and people make it worth it.

I have not been able to reach Tim in a few days and I dont know how to get to his property. If the plans fall through for his property I am hauling my 90 up to Stoney lonesome park in Cullman (exit 299 ) its a newer park from what I understand. I plan to leave early Sun. morning and spend the day there. I have been wanting to go there for awhile.I have been posting on x2 sites and have not had anyone say for sure that they were coming to Tims. I AM GOING 4WHEELING Sunday so if anyone wants to its just a matter of where,Tims or Stoney Lonesome. Thanks Johnny

Ok the 25th came and went,it was only me and Tim on his property this past weekend, enjoyed it ,hope next time there will be more Land Rovers out there. The trails we were on were fairly basic but the property has potential,im sure there were a lot of trails we didnt get to. My next plan is to Stoney Lonesome park in Cullman Sun. Nov. 22 , they are open year round and I want to try them out.If anyone wants to try them let me know,I could go on other dates in Nov. also. Thanks Johnny

Johnny,

Solaros (The Atlanta LR Club) is having their event this weekend in Blairsville GA, come on over, there will be plenty of trails and it won't be too far for you.
