4x4 Friendly Campsites in GA,SC,NC,FL...

I really don't know where to post this and it's not totally D90 related but since I got the rooftop tent on the truck I'm looking into a 'refresher' camping trip with my better half. So, I'm wondering WHERE to camp that's got some mountains where I can mess around with the D90 and pitch my tent WHERE EVER I choose ?

There's got to be some place out there ...

Any help is appreciated.
I'm lost on this one, haven't been camping in years, and even then in was in the North East.

Nicholas... I think this might be better in the trails section and have moved it there.

New member here so I'm not sure that you're still looking for some good camping spots.

If you are, I can point you towards some great no-fee sites in the Chattahoochee NF in north Georgia and also the Nantahala NF in western N.C.

Let me know if you could still use the coordinates and directions.
