Registered. First time attendee.
I will be arriving Saturday night- in time for dinner!
Will there be presentations or anything of the sort here?

We have a raffle after dinner and Rovers North awards the trophies for the RTV course.

There will be trail rides on Sunday morning, too.

Using the Nu Schooz sound as background music - reminder that the early bird registration closes soon. I need to get the short order to Jay in time for production and shipping.

All you procrastinators - time to register.

Also - Lucky 8 will give a vehicle recovery class at the MAR using an old Disco 2. When they are done - it will be up for parts - pick-n-pull.

For those on the fence on attending that don't want to camp, it's the week off for Virginia Tech football so there should be rooms available in Blacksburg,Va a short distance East of the MAR site.

A little inspiration for MAR.....

David Powers helped out this last work weekend and brought his D110 pick up (very nice).

Weather

Is it too early to post something like this????

I am probably putting a voodoo hex on the MAR and sending out false hope - but the weather does not look too bad. A little rain on Wednesday and then again on Friday morning. This is before most folks arrive and will help keep the dust down. The rest of the weekend looks great. (Bring warm clothes for night time)

I'm registered as well. Will be staying at the Holiday Lodge again this year. I'm looking forward to the usual fun and frivolity.

AHH there he is, Welshmen and their whisky. Still have the bottle of Laphroaig you and I started
and never finished. A little dusty, but as we left it, half full, waiting for you.
Happy to bring it, if you will be @ MAR, just say the word.

Looking forward to your new magazine. Subscribed
of course.

Cheers

Thinking about coming to MAR.
I'll be back in the states on 26 and will have like a day or two to pull out my truck from storage, get her running and fix a few small things. I wont be coming with any spares (will have tool box though!) or any real modifications, but it should be an adventure and good times! Im sure i can learn a ton while I'm there and bring my truck on it's first real trip! I'll break her in, but hopefully not break her. haha

You won't need spares, you'll find that if you do manage to break something inevitably someone there will have a replacement or at least help you sort out how to get it back. Nor do you really need a modified truck, plenty capable stock. You should come down!
