Last trip the 130 made to the Cove on I 81 it was on 12.50 x 35's and had a 1.2 transfer case in it. I couldn't even shift into 5th gear until she was rolling 70. Picture a tuned/rich running tdi 130 with straight pipe exhaust on 35's @ 85 mph, rolling coal.

That was the trip MVC talked me into following him in Matt Morans beast. I snapped not one but both sals shafts (persistence and a detroit) on that trail. Trip home was in front wheel drive.

Rest in peace Mike, we will never forget you.

I have fond memories (not only of MVC) listening to you running up the trail next to me, getting hung on the rock, hearing the turbo spool and whammy!

BTW....in order for Pedro to get a head start he would have to get his stuff together ON TIME...the biggest part of the problem... said in best spanglish accent.... DOOOOD I WILL BE READY, I DON AVE A LOT OF STUFF DOOOOD. I WILL PACK THE TRUCK ALREADY THE NIGHT BEFORE. DOOOOD, YOU WILL NOT AVE TO WAIT FOR ME MAN.

I can hear Pedro saying that.

The only downside is the guided trail rides at MAR.
Year before last, it was come-on Robert you're holding us up.
Come on you don't need anything, we'll be beck in an hour.
Left without any food, beer, not even a bottle of water.
Six hours later we were back at camp... it was bad.

We share the total lack of fear when it comes to breaking stuff Craig. My lack of fear can be seen on the trail. Yours was most memorably displayed with an airborne Acura attached with kinetic straps to a very solid, but dead, red oak tree.....talk about fond memories

You were standing right there laughing with the rest of us my brother.

Robert and I talked for about an hour earlier today. We are both looking forward to MAR and Uwharrie in October.

It would be far more enjoyable and you can likely still fit in a football game (check that schedule) if you so desire.
Daughter said don't come for the reasons you stated... MAR is a go for me.
