We wish that was the case. We stopped at the first car wash we came across. The problem is three worn bushings on the front end.

The bar Charlie brought this morning worked like a champ. The drive home was anticlimactic.

This truck is like a bad penny that just keeps turning up...

I think it first came to MAR in '01 or '02 with the original owner Jason/JJ.
It was at the last Pearls Pond in '07.
Then it was flogged for several years under Widener's ownership and came to MAR at that flat farm by the James River.
Now its back under Randy's rebuild/ressurection program.

Funny thing is they all bailed out once on the trail and were all riding in LR4s and other such dry and heated vehicles. All except Cassie, she was the only one to hang in there with me.

It was great to see so many old faces considering the adversities of the weather. I enjoyed it only wishing I had a machine more capable than a fire trail under the conditions. It sounds like everyone survived Saturday and made it home on Sunday. The only injuries were Charles (those feet) and Jonesy (the smashed finger)? Robert and I left around 10am Saturday and drove up to JMU to see our kids then headed home arriving around 8:30. The weather absolutely sucked except in Harrisonburg. I'm sorry I missed the Saturday night festivities but it felt good to get home and have all of Sunday to prepare for this week. I'm looking forward to URE in two weeks!

Also, BIG PROPS to Kraig for the Frogmore stew. That was one heck of a feast!
