Hey everyone - Jeff is right, the MAR is coming up fast.

One reminder that I wanted to get out to everyone is about t-shirt and meal tickets. We have to pre-order the t-shirts and tell the caterer how much to buy for ahead of time. Folks that on-site register really run the risk of not having a t-shirt available to them and also run the risk of missing out on the BBQ dinner. We try to plan for a little extra - but if that extra does not sell then the club assumes that cost - so we try to minimize the extra.

Bottom line - the registration site is still open. We are placing the t-shirt order tomorrow or the next day. We will give the caterer a final head count at the end of the week. Please pre-register, if you can.

The meal is being catered by a local vendor. It will be pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, beans, and coleslaw. He is also bringing homemade banana pudding from an old family recipe that sounds like it would be worth the meal ticket on its own.

(If you are an EXPO-EAST attendee that is planning to leave the EXPO on Saturday and arrive at the MAR at Saturday dinner time (6:30pm) then you can go to the ROAV web store and buy just a dinner ticket for Saturday night to make sure you get your plate full of pudding.)

And... We would like to welcome a few more sponsors:patriot:
Land Rover of Richmond

Sarek Autowerke

A big thanks to all our sponsors that allow us to keep the event costs low. Access to the trails is even easier than before. The RTV course competition will be back as well.

I think the RTV competition has been moved to Sunday. Or Monday. Or I am hiding your keys. One of those.

Looks like a little rain in the forecast for Friday.
What would MAR be without rain?

I'm trying to cobble together a truck...Tdi isn't trail-rated yet and the Hunter needs a new caliper.
Looks like I've got some wrenching to do tonight...

That's good news.

We will need a fire to dry out Friday night.

Well, I'm out. No brakes, waiting on parts. And they are not even Rover parts
