The way this tropical storm is dumping inch after inch of rain on the mid atlantic dust should be a non-issue and mud may be a possibility.

I'm not leaving Chantilly VA until about 4pm Thurs, but you are welcome to join us if you don't get going as early as planned. Will be a D90 and a D110. You taking your 109?

Thank you

Charles,

Thanks for the invite.
If I finish the 109 by Tuesday I will drag it behind the DII, otherwise simply the DII.
If anything makes me change the early departure, I will gladly join you.

Thank you again

Gustavo

Gustavo, just drop me a PM or call my cell (703 728 9247) if you do want to join us, although honestly leaving earlier is a better move traffic wise. I'm assuming you'll be coming down 15 and we could meet up somewhere like Rt50 or Rt 29 depending on timing.

I'm planning to head down midday or so. Probably around noon. Depends how much last minute tinkering I have to do.

D-90 NOVA Happy Hour crew going to set up together? Who will be down there first?

Robbie, we are staying at a B&B this time, but will keep some gear with the NOVA folks. Look for the Dave Dome or any shanty town looking mess, and that'll be the NOVA guys :D.

AS AN IMPORTANT REMINDER!!

The camping permit for the MAR is from THURSDAY NIGHT through SUNDAY evening. No camping at ORE earlier than Thursday night, no camping at ORE on Sunday night!

No campers will be allowed to set up and camp anywhere on Oakridge property. If you are bringing a camper or motorhome please arrange a site at a local campground.

I wish you all the best but i must bloody say I hope this venue is not the future for MAR events, trail Guides, Camping permits, the events location from years past was wonderful.

I'll report back after MAR, but my expectation is the trail riding will be far better than at pearl's pond. We'll see though.

Anyone else signed up for the RoverTym Challenge?

I did, but may have to bag it. I have yet to drive mile #1 on the new drive train. Having trouble finding belts for a 200tdi to get me on the road today.

She'll have plenty of miles on her by the time you get there

I hope you mean bag the "tough" trails and not MAR itself. Did you find some belts today?
