Wtb winch

Looking for an 8000 lb winch. Warn/superwinch highly preferred. What's out there?

That would count as complete overkill for my needs. Damn nice winch though. Hoping for an m8000/x9 or similar that someone's sick of tripping over.

I've got a decent used M8000, complete. Sitting down at SafariHP. Probably worth $400.

Just order the superwinch 8500 on Amazon.
$299. I've installed several, great low buck option.

Also autoanything.com will beat any price by a $1 and ship it for free. I bought my last two winches thru them. Zero hassles other than the UPS guy complaining about his back and why does everything I receive from them weigh a ton.

Are you sure he's not just complaining about the anti-personnel mines and the moat?

My UPS driver joins in on ammo group buys, and is sometimes fed and watered by me and my wife. He occasionally fishes in the moat but he knows better than to approach the mine field or the claymore garden. He just likes to bitch but thats why we love him.

Bump. Though it's tempting to grab that superwinch and some synthetic line and call it.

Wtb winch

9500sw tiger shark is around $350 shipped on prime. Even the Lp8500 was super solid. Not quite an 8274 or husky, but gets the job done

I have to say the TS9500 synthetic is a nice straight out of the box solution and I don't think you will get cheaper anywhere (nor new). Assembling components will probably cost more in the long run. Not to mention the packaging allowed it to survive the journey out here!

I don't know your preferences but assuming cheap assuming brand name preferred you can get Superwinch. 8500 units for $300 online

Will you be needing a hidden winch mount as well for a RRC? I have a Superwinch (I think 8k) with warn solenoids, and a RRC hidden winch mount that I think was made by Rovers North. Its all older stuff, but works fine.

Jimmy, thanks, it has an (empty) winch bumper currently, a relatively nice extreme 4x4, though I may try to swap for an ARB.

Don't put an ARB on that! The bumper looks dead sexy on that truck without the bars.

Just sayin'

I could sell the winch seperately, but the clutch release is setup to come up through the bumper for use with the hidden winch mount. Would probably work well with an ARB.

BTT, now looking for another, preferably with an integrated solenoid pack. Fine if if needs a rebuild, rope, fairlead, etc.
