I'm looking for the Soft A Bar, Nudge Bar, Brush Guard (whatever people call them) with the wrap around bars. Thanks

They haven't made it for years with good reason. You need to drill your wings to install it.
Part number if you insist on finding it. vub501770

You hit something with these stupid brush guards and the guard just bends into the wings. Does more damage than protection but I guess if you are willing to drill the wings you don't really care about the damage anyway.

Last truck didn't meet his needs. Apparently this one will require an engine conversion because and I quote - the nas 97 v8 is incapable of being driven 70 on the highway. At that speed the rpm is screaming.

I hate to call him out but I would love him to try and really explain this. He has has two trucks and claims it was the same in both.

I'm sorry you guys have a problem with me. Yes I've owned two previously and yes neither of them met my personal needs. They couldn't maintain highway speeds at 70+ without it feeling Like I'm pushing the engine too hard. I want a truck that will meet my needs, I want to go on road trips with it, camping, go up a hill on the way to mammoth mountain without slowing down to 45.
Beautiful thing about these trucks is that they are so customizable for the user. Im sorry you guys don't appreciate my uses for it. However, I'm going to buy another truck and with the help of some other kind people in this forum do an LS swap to build a truck that'll meet my needs.

Thanks Z.G for not sourcing that for me. Sounds like a terrible part.

Anything you have to drill into a body isn't really ideal... especially if you ever have a light impact and it rips a large hole where it was mounted

Absolutely, I didn't realize you had to drill until Barry told me. sounds like a perfect way to mess up your truck.

No one has problem with you josh. If some guy can add white shoes to his truck you can add headlights that shine your name or whatever. What I don't get is how you say in a 90 the 4.0 can't maintain highway speeds.

I'm sure a ls1 will be nice but I'm not seeing the issue with the original engine.

I have it and like it. 4 rivet nuts. If you hit something in the corner, your aluminum skin is going to get dented anyway.
