WTB series 1

Looking for a series 1 to add to the stable, it will have to be LHD and in its original color a repaint is ok just no color changes.

80" 88" 107" 109 " Price will depend on condition and a survivor non resto would be desired.

Working with IKE he's looking around for me one as well, just havent found one yet.

Cheers Ed

P.S. would prefer it to be on the left coast but im going to traveling around the states from NOV - JAN and can maybe work with somthing on the right coast.

Email Randy Newman, (ranewman I think). He knows someone with a 107 SW. I can check with the guy that bought my 107 SW as well, but that one would be well over $20k.

I really like your old 107 SW but im thinking well over 20K might be a little rich for my blood at this time. I would have to sell 110 to get that one not ready to sell it yet.

I have a mint 1960 as well but I want a series 1, not in a huge hurry but if the right one came along I would jump on it.

Thanks guys

Check ebay.co.uk

They have an original RHD 107 SW project for 8000ukp. Makes me mad at what I sold mine (LHD worth much less of course as few RHD 107 SW were made) for that was in similar condition.

Jeff

Is there a cure? I tried several topical salutions but they just made me itch.

The one in CO looks pretty nice but the price seems to be a little out of line for what I was thinking, IKE has kinda schooled me on what to expect for a Series 1 so im thinking that one is a little spendy.

They also pop up for sale over here from time to time.

http://www.landroverexchange.com/listings/

Don't know if JPBrown ever bought the one he was talking about buying, but it shows what Wolf paid for the one he was talking about earlier over $20k, so they do come along cheaper from time to time.

Thanks for the links, yea I will wait for the right one to pop up.. not wanting to pay collector value for one. I like to work on these and get to know them. A old worn out original one would really turn my crank. Here is my 1960 I brought home this year, it was sitting for 18 years in the same spot I tried to buy this thing 15 years ago and the guy finally let it go. Its now a daily driver again is a blast to drive.

What do the pull levers say to the left of the steering wheel? Are they the ones for a warn/bellview winch? Snowplow?

They look like the heater controls on mine (although mine are to the right of the steering column).

The truck looks great!

I have a 1950 Series One that has an extended rear bed and a Arabic license plate. A customer familiar with Arabic language said the crest on the plate looks like it is from Jordan and it looks like it was a parade vehicle. If anyone is interested contact me for photos. This vehicle needs a restoration. I am thinning my collection of projects
