WTB: Seat ECU for '95 RRC LWB

Looking to source a reconditioned seat ECU for a 1995 RRC LWB. It's my understanding you can not buy a new ECU anymore, only reconditioned. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Shane

I'm going to rewire mine, because I don't care about memory settings, once I have it figured out I can do the same to yours. It will be a lot cheaper than buying another memory box.

You can use the older seat switches without the memory button and it plugs right in... Only problem is that you lose power mirror functions..

Get a new battery and solder it it. Did it a few years back, don't remember the details but you can find it online. Batteries and more had the battery in stock.

More often than not the battery has leaked out and destroyed the circuit board already...

Do u have a part# or could u point me in the right direction to source one? I've already tried replacing the damaged battery, but I think it's already damaged the circuit board to much. I had Performance Rovers in Charlotte diagnose the issue and they agreed it was the seat ECU.

This is the guy in PA who refurbs the ECU.
He's been around a while but I dont have any personal experience with him.

Yeah that's not quite it

1. You dont have to change seat switches at all if yours are good
2. You can use a PRC7050 LH seat switch harness, but it's definitely not plug and play on a 1995... a little wiring is required

I just finished doing my 95 today.

I'll work out the mirrors over the winter when I pull the interior. But as I said in my other thread, it can't be *that* hard.

I do my mirrors like a Defender; I get out and adjust them...then tell everybody "Don't mess with 'em!"

Bang, sometimes you get lucky if you open up the module and if the battery acid hasn't eaten the board too bad you can just clean it up and replace the batt...
